LONG TERM RELIEF FROM CHRONIC KNEE PAIN AT TRI-CITY SOFT TISSUE & SPINE IN MIDLAND, MI

Athletes, especially runners, are all too familiar with knee pain.

Not only will knee pain keep you from doing the activities you love, it prevents you from doing your daily movements - like standing and walking.
At True Motion Chiropractic Group, we address the underlying cause of your knee pain and provide specific treatment to restore your range of motion.

Causes of Knee Pain We Treat:

Meniscus Tears

The Meniscus is known as the shock absorber of the knee. With bad movement patterns in the hip and ankle, the knee can become overused. The result is Meniscal tears and pain. A severe Meniscus tear may require surgery, but in many cases, conservative care can help manage the condition. Adding back proper biomechanics to the knee can take pressure off the knee and decrease your pain.

Osteoarthritis

As we age, years of wear and tear can add up. This is especially the case in the knee joint.  When we overuse a joint the arthritis process can start, making the joint less flexible and more painful. Reducing adhesion in all the surrounding tissues can help restore proper range of motion, and possibly slow down the degenerative process.

Patellar Tracking Disorder

This is another term that is used to describe pain symptoms of the Patella, or kneecap.  Adhesion can develop in the quad muscles making the quad muscles weaker and less flexible.  This causes the kneecap to not track properly, resulting in discomfort. Fixing adhesion in the quad muscles is imperative to solving Patellar Tracking Disorder.

Runner’s Knee & Jumper’s Knee

This is another term used to describe damage to cartilage and tendons of the knee. Addressing only the knee will deliver subpar results. At True Motion Chiropractic Group, we remove the adhesions and restore proper range of motion to the knee, hip and ankle-slowing down degeneration and keeping the knee free of pain.
